SALES AGENTS! WE NEED YOU!

We are recruiting people throughout the U.K. to work as Sales Agents from home. The appointed Agents will have the freedom to work the hours they choose and at the level they wish to be involved. These opportunities would suit people with varying needs and reasons they are currently available in the employment marketplace. For example, you may be a Mother with a young family who finds it difficult to find a job with suitable hours but needs the income. You could be an experienced sales person wishing to work for yourself or maybe you have been made redundant or taken early retirement. Whatever your circumstances, providing you have the self motivation to make a success of the appointment, you could become one of our team.

WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS

These positions will require the Agent to make contact, primarily by telephone but could also involve face to face contact, with all types of trades people that use our products. This can be small Building Companies, property developers, joiners and window fitters etc. also Do It Yourself customers provide a rich source of enquiry but they are not so easy to identify as trades-people are. All areas of the U.K. have their own local tradesmen and self employed service people and they are the people you will mostly be dealing with.

WHERE WILL I FIND MY SALES LEADS FROM

There are many sources of free sales leads. The most obvious ones are Yellow Pages and Thomson Local, these have several categories of trades-people and companies that use our products and in fact it's not many years ago since we used this as our major source of business. With the Internet there are now many sites that will provide you with telephone nos. email addresses etc. of local potential customers. Also the free papers, shop windows, Tesco etc, all have adverts for local trades-people.

WHAT do I need to fulfil this position?

Not much at all. You will need either a landline or mobile telephone, (There are some excellent deals available for a free mobile with large amounts of free minutes). A computer with broadband connection. A fax machine would be useful but this could be software based on your computer. If you prefer to be out on the road meeting people then obviously a car would be essential.

The rest of it is what you can give personally, i.e. time, effort, ability to converse with customers, the ability to use the internet and email including attaching files, and photo's. You will also need to be comfortable with measurements mostly in metric but occasionally in imperial.

WHAT will you provide?

The most important thing we will provide for you is a first class product at a very keen price that should enable you to be competitive. Depending on what knowledge you may have about the industry, we will provide the technical know how for our products and service, (most of this information is readily available on our website both in simple form or in-depth). You will receive instruction on how to obtain simple prices from either the website or from a printed price matrix. We will also explain what information you will need to get from the customers for either you or us to provide an accurate quotation. It's not rocket science, honestly it's really simple once you get used to it and the terminology used (we have a terminology sheet to help you with this).

We can also supply you with samples of profile and a sample window if you require them but we will have to charge for the sample window at cost, it's amazing how many you see at car boot sales so I am sorry to say they are not free. However, we will credit the cost back to you once you have achieved a reasonable amount of sales.

We may also provide you with some Company leads within your area. These will be customers that have either enquired previously or they may have previously bought from us but for one reason or another have gone elsewhere

We will be available for telephone assistance throughout the working day but should you need help in providing a quotation out of normal business hours, you will be able to get hold of us on a private mobile No.

WILL I BE ABLE TO DO THIS?

Yes, provided that you have the confidence to speak to business owners and tradesmen over the telephone to ask for the opportunity to quote for any PVCu windows, doors, conservatories etc they may require for their current or future jobs. If you have worked in any sort of sales or call centre environment, this aspect of the job would be familiar to you. Once you have an opportunity to quote, to would then prepare a quotation from either a price list provided by us, the website, or for more complex enquiries from one of our office based sales staff. You would then present the price to your customer and hopefully make the sale. You would not need to get involved with any delivery or payment issues excepting to explain the Company policy and practice on such matters. You will not need to handle any money in your position as a Sales Agent.

WHAT CAN I EARN?

The rewards for successful sales is by a generous commission. We will not publish the figures here so as the maintain our Agents privacy, but to give an example of potential earning, someone working say 2 days per week or perhaps 16 to 20 hours per week should be able to earn an average of £200 For those that put in more time and effort, it is entirely possible that these people can expect earning up to and exceeding £800 per week. Of course there will be instances of working all week and you not getting very far but often these sparse weeks are used to prepare for the corresponding bonanza weeks where everything you do turns to gold. The rewards may vary each week and some weeks you will earn really good money while other weeks you will wonder why you bother. The first few weeks can sometimes seem as though you have put in a lot of effort for little return but this is just while you get going, it's usually slow to start but once things start to happen you will be surprised how easy it is to get the business in. After a short while, you should be able to earn money for less effort once your customers give you repeat business, this will provide natural growth and make for regularity in your earnings.

Our aim is to recruit Agents in all major Counties in the U.K.  In fact any area with a reasonably good population and a poor supply line for PVCu windows and doors can be worked to good effect. Wherever you reside, you can feel sure we can support you in building a successful Agency.
